Under new management since July 2009 the business is managed by Nick (& his family) who has been fishing since hmmmmm well over 30+ years! We also stock our own brand items from fly tying tools to our own range of 500+ quality flies which are exceptional value for money (this is in addition to the full range of award winning Turrall & Snowbee flies) - the emphasis is on absolute quality.

| How to use the Troutcatchers Site
Open 24 hours a day all year. Troutcatchers offer in excess of 9,000 different fly fishing products and this is expanding daily mainly through customer requests for new lines.
It's easy to shop, just browse through the site, clicking your items in to your shopping cart. When finished pay with either your credit or debit card with the knowledge that you are in a 100% secure environment, or pay with your PayPal account.

We will also set up a Free Log in service after your first order. We collect your data from your order, set up a log in name & password and email you this information. Use this for any future purchases; this will save you time not having to repeat typing in your address details etc.

| Experiencing Problems with the Troutcatcher Site
Occasionally as with all website, they may not work as intended. Most of the time this is due to previous visits to the site and cached (previous) pages are memorised by your PC, however the Website may get updated and these cached pages may confuse your PC. |  |
| A simple fix is (If using Explorer Web browser):
1 Open your Web browser, click on Tools, then click on Internet Options.
2 Click the Delete button on browsing history.
3 Choose which history you want deleting. To fix the above problem, we normally tick everything except, Form Data and passwords (otherwise you'll have to re-type these in anytime you go to one of your regular sites which require this information).
Once this the PC has completed this request, close down your browser, then re-open - this should then work.
If this does not work, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to find a fix.

Troutcatchers at this time do not produce a printed version of a product catalogue. Reason is that we have over 9,000 products which would be more of a book than a catalogue, plus we add new products almost weekly.
Every item we do is listed on our website, if you prefer to order without going through the website process, just drop us a list of items required through the post with your card address details, etc. we will organise your order for you. Troutcatchers were pleased to win second place in the 2004 Trout Fisherman Magazine Commercial Tiers review!
Back in 2004 Trout Fisherman magazine reviewed a selection of flies from 9 fly retailers in the U.K. Troutcatchers were delighted to have received 2nd place. The magazines 'tackle team' who reviewed our flies was made up of well known fishermen including photographer & author Mr. Peter Gathacole who wrote "Not bog-standard versions of the requested patterns with a real injection of modern materials" he went on to say "Nymphs are a fine selection showing every fly to it's best"

Due to the popularity of the flies, it is now unfortunately not commercially viable to make each individual fly, however, we now source flies from arguably two of the finest fly suppliers in the business.
