Note - About Troutcatcher Flies.
Troutcatchers were pleased to win second place in the 2004 Trout Fisherman Magazine Commercial Tiers review!
Back in 2004 Trout Fisherman magazine reviewed a selection of flies from 9 fly retailers in the U.K. Troutcatchers were delighted to have received 2nd place. The magazines 'tackle team' who reviewed our flies was made up of well known fishermen including photographer & author Mr. Peter Gathacole who wrote "Not bog-standard versions of the requested patterns with a real injection of modern materials" he went on to say "Nymphs are a fine selection showing every fly to it's best"
To read the rest of the reviews you will need to obtain a copy of both the 2004 January & February editions of Trout Fisherman Magazine.
Due to the popularity of the flies, it is now unfortunately not commercially viable to make each individual fly, however, we now source flies from arguably two of the finest fly suppliers in the business. Turrall & Snowbee are the preferred supplier to Troutcatchers - Troutcatcher stock their entire range, there are literarily thousands to choose from all presented in a logical easy to find order.
Make yourself a hot drink, settle down & go through the extensive catalogue we have prepared. Happy Browsing.
