Bug-Bond™ Lite 20Ml

BUG-BOND Lite - A clear UV resin for the fly tier that cures with a tack-free finish when cured correctly. This material is resistant to yellowing with age, has an element of flex which means that it doesn't shatter on impact, it is optically perfect and cures quickly. Lite has a similar consistency to "a light oil" and although easy to manipulate it requires a little more time to get used to how fluid it is. This may be your secondary tying material. Lite is used for more specialist applications or for securing thread part way through a tie where a build-up of material is not required and it has to be appreciated that ultra-thin coats of material may require more curing depending on the surface it is applied to.

UV resins are always good but not easy at low temp I have to do my flytying in the unheated garage. Even the thin resin was quite stiff at low temperatures but UV resins are an excellent answer to fly tying. (16/01/2012) Paul Ellis - Cornwall
