For me this is a good catcher on still water. Been using a couple I got locally since fishing restarted. both far out in the open water but also close in around the reeds and weeds. I was that impressed I ordered a few different styles to try them out.

Well tied and tested I fish at Kennick reservoir plus other venues in the South West, this fly and it''s variants do work, I think it''s the uv fritz that does the trick. Fished on a sinking line either on a slow retrieve or stripped it catches fish ( not fishermen as a lot of flies do!) .

Seen the reviews so had to try! Seems this fly has developed a reputation and demand is very high so get your ordefs in quick! Seems to work well on small waters and reservoirs in the south west I have been to, and can''t wait to try it at Kennick at the end of the month. .

Worked well for me Used on small still water in bright sun on slow/med retrieve. One Blue Trout completely swallowed it. They spin on the retrieve! .
