Thank you for your review. This however seems totally out of sync with the other reviews and feedback we have received for the Fly Mate vices, and if contacted could have helped you.
The fly tying vice, is one of our top selling vices but they do need to be set up correctly and once they are after a bit of practice are outstanding value for the money. Snowbee even guarantee for 5 years the jaws on them they are that confident. The instructions will help align the jaws. Any issue, call us.
Ref the jaws not aligning to the base, if you look at the picture, the stem has a bolt, loosen this and your stem will turn and line up.
