Only tried it once on our lakes but promising first experience. A little heavier than my current Loomis rod. Casting quite impressive for first try and I'm sure it will be even better when I am fully used to the rod.

I have been on a personal holy grail trying to find a 10 foot # 6 over the last few years when I moved from using 7 weights. I bought the discontinued Prestige 10 foot #6 last year and really liked it. I tried out the new Prestige GXS 10 foot # 6 yesterday and really liked it. It's light and accurate and slightly faster than the old model. A superb rod and would reccomend.
