Zero bearing play, and beautifully smooth. Balances nicely with my 6 ft Snowbee Classic fly rod, and feels nicer than a plastic reel in my view. The drag is smooth and easily adjustable. I like the fact that spare spools are available at Troutcatchers at a reasonable price too.
