BUG-BOND Lite - A clear UV resin for the fly tier that cures with a tack-free finish when cured correctly. This material is resistant to yellowing with age, has an element of flex which means that it doesn't shatter on impact, it is optically perfect and cures quickly. Lite has a similar consistency to "a light oil" and although easy to manipulate it requires a little more time to get used to how fluid it is. This may be your secondary tying material. Lite is used for more specialist applications or for securing thread part way through a tie where a build-up of material is not required and it has to be appreciated that ultra-thin coats of material may require more curing depending on the surface it is applied to.

BUG-BOND Lite - Upon request we can email you PDF Data Safety Sheets for this item. Please contact us.

How to use your Bug Bond - In terms on how to use, its virtually the same a using a varnish, but with the addition of the torch.
  • Select your Bug Bond resin of choice for the fly you are tying.
  • Apply a small amount of resin on a notepad or similar surface.
  • Using your bodkin, apply a small amount of resin to your fly.
  • Add as much or as little as you'd like to the fly before torching / curing.
