As part of the preservation process, you may notice a natural scent when opening the pack – this is perfectly normal and plays an important role in protecting the feathers from insect damage, ensuring they remain in top condition. Simply allow the wings to air outside for a short while, any odour will soon dissipate.

The wings are great, some feathers are ever so slightly damaged, but that's ok for what I'm doing with them. There is a slight smell, which I assume is something to do with preserving a natural product. All in all, a great item and a super-efficient service.
