Turrall – One of our favourite suppliers since 2002 stocking circa 2,000 deadly, beautifully made fishing flies! Plus several hundred fly tying materials & tools  amongst many other game fishing accessories.

England is the birthplace of fly-fishing as a sport & Turrall & Co Ltd. is its longest established company of fly dressers. By the mid-nineteenth century, the art of making artificial fishing flies was well developed in North Devon. It was here, close to the River Torridge that Colonel Hugh Turrall founded the company which bears his name, and organised the local craftsmen to produce consistent, high quality fishing flies.

During the last 50 years, Turrall has established an international market of more than 32 countries. The company won The Sunday Times special award for its unique contribution to employment in rural Britain. It followed this with the Country Living Magazine First Prize for Businesses in Rural areas. Turrall have also won a unique five awards from EFTTEX – the trade show of the European Fishing Tackle Trade Association.
