TROUTCATCHER Return Policy

Returns Policy – Shop with Confidence

At troutcatcher.co.uk, we want you to shop with complete confidence. If you need to return an item, please email us to request a Return Authorisation Number before sending anything back. To ensure the process is as smooth and efficient as possible, please follow the guidelines below:

  • Returns must be completed within 30 days of receipt (from the dispatch date).
  • Shortages or damaged items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery so that we can file a claim with the relevant courier.
  • To help us improve our service, we kindly ask you to let us know the reason for your return.
  • All items must be returned in new, unused condition, with all original packaging and labels still attached.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the safe return of the item(s). We strongly recommend using a recorded or tracked postal service.
  • Troutcatchers will cover the return delivery costs only if the return is due to an error on our part or a manufacturer fault, provided you have contacted us in advance and received a Return Authorisation Number.
  • Postage refunds will be limited to the original delivery charge. If your return will incur higher postage costs, please contact us for authorisation before returning the item.
  • Manufacturer or Troutcatchers fault: While we sympathise with any manufacturing defects, please note that we do not accept claims for consequential loss under our warranty terms.
  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 2 to 3 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned goods.
  • Please note, this refund timeframe does not include any additional processing time required by your bank.
  • If you wish to exchange an item, an additional postage charge will apply.
  • All returned items must be unused – this includes clothing, footwear, and other wearables.
  • If you received free postage on your original order and are returning it for a refund, a deduction of £8.00 (UK orders) or the actual shipping cost (for overseas orders) will be applied to your refund to cover the original delivery cost.
  • International returns must be clearly marked as "Goods Being Returned to Country of Origin" on any required customs declaration. Please check with your local customs authority for guidance.
  • Troutcatchers reserves the right to refuse any international return that incurs customs charges. If customs, duties, or import taxes are applied, these costs will be deducted from your refund, along with a £25 administration fee.

FAULTY GOODS - If an item is found to be faulty or damaged, please notify us before returning so we can advise you further. Please contact us - 01933388281

In order to comply with health and safety regulations, any faulty items being returned for assessment must be in a clean and dry condition, free from mud and dirt etc. We regret we are unable to process items that do not meet this criteria and such items will be returned to you at your cost.
