TROUTCATCHER Return Policy
Returns Policy – Shop with Confidence
At troutcatcher.co.uk, we want you to shop with complete confidence. If you need to return an item, please email us to request a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) before sending anything back. To ensure the process is as smooth and efficient as possible, please follow the guidelines below:
To ensure everything runs smoothly, please note the following:
Standard Returns
Returns must be received by us within 30 days of receipt (calculated from the dispatch date). Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns outside this timeframe.- Shortages or damaged items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery so that we can raise a claim with the relevant courier.
- We kindly ask that you let us know the reason for your return to help us improve our service.
- All items must be returned in new, unused condition, with original packaging, tags and labels intact.
- You are responsible for ensuring safe return of the item(s). We strongly recommend using a tracked or recorded postal service.
- Troutcatchers will cover return postage costs only where the return is due to our error or a confirmed manufacturer fault, and only where prior contact has been made and a Return Authorisation Number issued.
- Any refund of postage will be limited to the original delivery charge paid. If higher return postage costs are anticipated, please contact us for approval before returning the item.
- Refunds are processed within 2–3 working days of receiving and inspecting the goods. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to complete their processing.
- Exchanges are welcome; however, an additional postage charge will apply.
- If your original order qualified for free UK delivery and you return it for a refund, £8.00 (UK) or the actual outbound shipping cost (overseas orders) will be deducted to cover the original delivery cost.
International Returns - In addition:
- International returns must be clearly marked as “Goods Being Returned to Country of Origin” on customs documentation.
- Any customs duties, import taxes or clearance charges incurred will be deducted from the refund, along with a £25 administration fee.
- We reserve the right to refuse international returns that incur customs charges.
