Cortland 444 Intermediate Fly Line only slightly heavier than water, sinking very slowly, an ideal fly line for fishing swimming nymphs and emergers over shallow, submerged weed beds.

The Cortland 444 Intermediate fly line is one of the most popular lines that helps you do that. Then boasting a specific gravity of 1.06 which is only slightly heavier than water meaning it sinks very slowly keeping straight for positive hook settings and presentation. Use the fly line for a wide range of angling options including fishing nymphs, emergers or small lures from the bank or boat, coming into its own when fishing buzzers and nymphs, letting your flies anchor at depth whilst still in complete contact.
