Hareline Dubbin, Inc. Monroe, Oregon, USA - manufactures and distributes some of the world’s finest fly tying materials available in today's market.


Hareline products are sold through all major Fly Shops throughout the world and troutcatchers are one of the largest in the UK.
Hareline Dubbin was founded in 1981 by Bob and Nelda Borden. It has grown from the kitchen stove top with 12 colours of Hareline Dubbin to a 18,000 square foot facility with thousands of fly tying products ready to deliver.


Troutcatchers import from Hareline about 5 or 6 times a year, if we don’t list an item and you’ll like us to get it, please don’t hesitate in contacting us.

Extra Select Strung Marabou
Extra Select Strung Marabou is a very long, full, marabou feather, ideal for hackling large flies, definitely a premium product imported from USA.
These quills are available in a choice of Twenty Two colours. Also ideal for our customers who purchase marabou feathers for decorative art, crafts, masks and costumes. Virtually every feather is high quality and there is very little waste in these feather packages.

Turkey Biot Quills
Turkey Biot Quills are longer than goose biots which make them ideal for your biot body, wing or casing patterns. Wrap the quills around your hook to make segmented bodies on dries, nymphs and midges.
22 Turkey Biot Quill colours to choose, they come as a pair, the longer Biot are on the rear of the feather and the shorter, stiffer Biot on the front.

Foam Cylinders
Foam Cylinders are of the perfect density for shaping detached bodies, daddies, hoppers, ants, etc. The foam cylinders can also be marked with Promarker pens. Also top tip, cut them in half so you get a 'D' Shape, makes perfect foam bodies for all sorts of terrestrials patterns.....

Swiss Straw - Raffine
Swiss Straw, a great synthetic substitute for raffia. Use for shellback patterns, very easy to work with. Also superb for realistic looking wing cases and scud backs. Cut or use wing cutters to get realistic caddis wings.

Coq De Leon
'Coq de Leon' hackles are long fabled as the finest in fly tying feathers. Coq de Leon is sourced from birds bred in a very specific region of Leon in northern Spain. These birds have been linked to fly tying since 1624 and are arguably one of the oldest fly tying feathers around. Their fine distinctive markings are almost unique on their feathers; they have a very shiny feather adding an extra sparkle when used as either tail wisps or as a component in the wing.
