Turrall Flat Tinsel - Wide

Turrall Flat Tinsel - Wide makes it simple to give a larger fly a clear metallic body or a strong, visible rib. At 1/32 inch (approximately 0.80mm), it covers more of the hook than Fine tinsel, making it useful for larger wets, streamers and salmon dressings.

• Use an even thread foundation so wide, shiny body wraps lie smoothly.
• Keep the strip flat under light tension instead of twisting it into a narrow cord.
• Tie in with the shiny face correctly orientated to avoid a dull-looking completed wrap.

Wide is 1/32 inch (0.80mm) wide, with 30m on one reel.

It is made from untarnishable material designed to keep its metallic lustre.

Fine is 0.35mm (55m) for finer ribs; Wide is 0.80mm (30m) for stronger wraps; and X-Wide is 1.60mm (20m) for broad metallic bodies. All are supplied one reel per pack.
